Before your equipment is started each day, you can be sure that the driver has the correct and up to date license for the equipment they are using, they have read and understood any company or user policies and updates, and that they have undertaken the daily (or any other frequency) safety checks that need to be completed. Once its all ok, the vehicle can be started, the safety checks are recorded and any minor issues are sent as app notifications to supervisors and emails to HQ. This ensures you have a clear and transparent understanding of any issues that need addressing. If there is a major issue that could endanger employees or damage equipment, the vehicle can’t be started until fixed. The company decides what are the major and minor issues and what compliance is forced.
